- Little Oak Montessori School offers a world-class education to children in the Gorge and is a member of the Association Montessori International. Our
elementary school for children 6-9 with the plan of expanding up to 12 y.o. in the next few years.
The Montessori Elementary program is a project based curricula that addresses this age group's needs for academic, social and emotional growth. We
bring the world into the classroom and classroom into the world in a way that allows student to reach their full potential and develop a confidence and
love of learning. All of our programs exceed state standards.
Our white Salmon Campus is less than 7 minutes from Hood River and is located in a quiet wooded area surrounded by trees hundreds of feet tall. The
outside is not just a play environment but very much part of the learning environment where students are engaged in hands on learning and
exploration.
